..for the Americans without PAL, it's really easy for us to use NTSC. The
machine can be forced into NTSC mode, which effectively stretches the
display to fit on a PAL screen giving us a full-screen-NTSC display. The
boot options merely forces the chipset into stretched mode. Most PAL
display screens (TV or Monitor) are capable of handling the stretched
output.
Normally we just get everything in letterbox format.
